There are plenty of 9mm AR pistols out there, but most of them run straight blowback, which means a heavy bolt slamming back and forth with every shot. CMMG went a different route with the Banshee MK4. Their Radial Delayed Blowback system, originally developed for the .45 ACP MkG platform, uses a rotating bolt to delay the action, so the bolt can be lighter and the recoil impulse noticeably softer. Pair that with the ZEROED linear comp on the muzzle and you get a 9mm PCC-style pistol that stays flat and gets back on target fast.
The 8-inch barrel is machined from 4140CM steel with a salt bath nitride finish and a 1:10 twist, threaded 1/2×28 so you can swap the comp for a suppressor or another muzzle device whenever the mood strikes. Up top you get a billet 6061-T6 upper over a forged 7075-T6 Mk4 lower, wrapped in CMMG's Tungsten Cerakote, a gray that looks sharp and holds up to real use. The EML M-LOK handguard gives you slots for lights and hand stops, and the flat top is optics ready for whatever red dot you're running. CMMG's ZEROED single stage trigger, 60/90 degree ambi safety, and ambi charging handle come standard, and the whole thing weighs in around 4.6 pounds.
