There are plenty of ARs chambered in 7.62×39, but most of them fight the cartridge instead of working with it. CMMG went a different route with the Mk47 line, building the receiver set around the round itself and feeding it from AK pattern magazines, which handle the tapered case better than any modified AR mag ever will. The Dissent Mk47 takes that proven recipe and drops it into CMMG's bufferless compact action, a direct impingement system that ditches the buffer tube entirely. That is what makes the side folding stock possible, and folded up this rifle stores in spaces a standard AR simply won't.
The 14.3-inch medium taper 4140CM barrel wears a ZEROED SVD muzzle brake pinned and welded in place, bringing barrel length to 16.1 inches while keeping the rifle noticeably shorter than a typical carbine. Up front, a non-reciprocating side charging handle sits where your support hand already lives, so you can run the action without breaking your grip or coming off target, and it is reversible for lefties. The adjustable gas block is a genuinely useful touch here, since 7.62×39 ammo varies a lot from brand to brand. Whether you are feeding it steel case range fodder or running a suppressor, you can tune the gas to match.
The folding stock adjusts for both length of pull and cheek riser height, so getting a solid weld behind an optic takes seconds. A free float M-LOK handguard with a full top Picatinny rail gives you room for lights, lasers, and whatever else you like to hang on a rifle, and the ZEROED single stage drop-in trigger and 60/90 degree safety round out the controls. The whole rifle wears a Coyote Tan Cerakote finish and ships with two Magpul 30-round PMAGs, so it is ready for the range the day you pick it up.

The Dissent operating system is a bufferless compact action running direct impingement, so there is no buffer tube sticking out the back of the receiver. Instead you get a Picatinny end cap with CMMG's side folding stock attached. That means the rifle can fold and even fire with the stock folded, which a standard AR cannot do.
The adjustable gas block makes this rifle a solid suppressor host, letting you turn gas down to tame the extra back pressure a can creates. Keep in mind the ZEROED SVD brake is pinned and welded to the barrel, so you would need a suppressor mounting solution that works with that setup. The gas adjustment also helps you dial in the rifle for different ammo brands, since 7.62×39 loads vary quite a bit.
