The 10mm Auto is a cartridge that rewards barrel length, and that is exactly the thinking behind the CMMG Banshee Mk10. Its 8-inch barrel wrings noticeably more velocity out of the round than any duty-size handgun can, which turns the Banshee into a legitimate option for home defense, hog control, or backcountry carry where you want real thump in a package that still fits in a backpack. Most pistol caliber ARs in this power class rely on straight blowback, which means a heavy bolt slamming around every shot. CMMG went a different route with its Radial Delayed Blowback system.
