The CMC Triggers 92501 takes the frustration out of upgrading your AR. Instead of wrestling with tiny springs and pins, you drop the whole cassette into your lower, push in your trigger and hammer pins, run a safety check, and you're headed to the range. It's a single-stage curved trigger with a factory-set pull in the 4.5 pound range, tuned to break clean with almost no take-up and very little over-travel.
CMC machines the trigger and sear from S7 tool steel and houses everything in an 8620 alloy steel shell, holding tolerances of plus or minus .001 inch on every engagement surface. That precision is where the glass-smooth break comes from, and it's why folks who put this in describe an immediate, noticeable jump in feel over a standard GI trigger.
