It bolts straight into your M-LOK slots and gives you a true 1913 Picatinny surface, so lights, vertical grips, hand stops, and other rail-mounted gear have a rock-solid home. At 2.5 inches with five slots, it's just enough real estate for a single accessory without hogging space on your forend.
CMC machines these from 6061-T6 aluminum and finishes them with a Type III hardcoat anodizing in matte black, which is the same tough treatment you'll find on quality handguards. That means it shrugs off rail-mounted lights and grips getting bumped around without wearing through. The beveled ends are a nice touch too, keeping the edges from catching on slings, gloves, or your gear bag when you're moving around.
The beauty of a modular M-LOK setup is running a slick, snag-free handguard and only adding rail where you actually need it. This section lets you do exactly that. Mount one at 3 o'clock for a light, drop one at 6 o'clock for a grip, or add a short stretch of Pic wherever your build calls for it.
