The Citadel CDA-12 Force takes that proven formula and packages it in a tidy, defense-minded setup without piling on cost. You get a steel receiver in matte black, a 3 inch chamber that handles 2 3/4 and 3 inch shells, and a 3+1 capacity in a gun that tips the scales at just 6.4 pounds.
The black synthetic stock wears an integrated pistol grip that lets you pull the gun in tight and keep control through the recoil pulse, with a rubber recoil pad on the back end to take some sting out of heavier loads. The oversized charging handle is a nice touch too, easy to grab in a hurry or with gloves on. Up top you get a high post front sight paired with an adjustable rear, a faster and more precise arrangement than the single bead most budget pumps ship with. Under the forend sits a Picatinny rail section, ready for a light or laser, which is worth taking seriously on any shotgun that might get used in low light.
At 20 inches, the barrel splits the difference nicely.
