At just over 31 inches, it swings fast, points naturally, and stores about anywhere.
The 20 gauge chambering is a big part of the appeal here. You get real shotgun capability with noticeably less recoil than a 12, which makes this one pleasant for smaller-framed folks and long range sessions alike. The 3 inch chambers digest everything from light 2.75 inch target loads up to stouter field and buckshot loads. A single crisp trigger fires either barrel, and the tang-mounted barrel selector lets you pick which one goes first. The action release sits right there on the tang too, so opening the gun is a natural thumb motion. Extractors lift your hulls clear of the chambers for easy removal by hand, the traditional way.
Interchangeable choke tubes give this double more range than the short barrels suggest. It uses a single trigger for both barrels, paired with a barrel selector on the receiver tang. You pick which barrel fires first, and a second pull fires the other. It keeps operation simple compared to old-school double-trigger designs.
It uses extractors rather than ejectors. When you break the action open, the extractors lift the spent hulls partway out of the chambers so you can pluck them out by hand. It is the traditional coach gun setup, and it keeps your empties from flying off into the grass.
