The receivers are machined from billet 7075-T6 aluminum with a hardcoat anodized finish, and small details show real thought, like a hardened steel case deflector and forward assist housing that hold up better than aluminum over high round counts, plus a flared magwell that speeds up reloads. The bolt and barrel extension get a DLC coating for smoother cycling and better corrosion resistance. Then there is the trigger. The Hiperfire EDT Designated Marksman is a crisp single stage that breaks light and resets fast, a genuine upgrade you would normally pay extra for, and it comes standard here.
Every control on the CAT4 works from both sides. Safety selector, magazine release, and bolt catch are all fully bilateral, and the dedicated bolt catch lever sits right under the dust cover where your trigger finger can lock the bolt back without breaking your grip.
