Canik jumped into the suppressor world with the VOID line, and they were smart about it. Instead of designing a can from scratch, they partnered with Otter Creek Labs, the crew behind the well-regarded Polonium series, to handle engineering and US manufacturing. The VOID-556K is the compact rifle can of the lineup, measuring just 5.1 inches long and weighing 12.3 ounces, which keeps your rifle handy instead of turning it into a boat oar. It is rated for 5.56 NATO and 6mm ARC on barrels 10.5 inches and longer, and it holds up to hard firing schedules with full-auto tolerance built in.
The big story here is the dual end cap system. Out of the box you get both a solid end cap for maximum sound reduction and a low back pressure cap that vents gas forward instead of dumping it back through your receiver. If you have ever run a sealed can on an AR and caught a face full of gas, you know why that matters. Swapping between the two lets you tune the can for a semi-auto range rifle one day and a bolt gun the next. Construction is heat-treated 17-4 stainless steel with a fully welded baffle stack, wrapped in high-temperature Cerakote that shrugs off the heat that comes with real use.
The rear of the can uses the industry-standard 1.375×24 HUB interface, so you are never locked into one mounting ecosystem. Adapters from Dead Air, SilencerCo, Griffin, YHM, and plenty of others thread right in. Canik also includes a 1/2×28 direct thread adapter in the box, meaning it goes straight onto standard AR-15 muzzle threads the day it comes home. Between the compact footprint, the tunable gas behavior, and the wide-open mounting options, the VOID-556K is a lot of suppressor in a small, well-thought-out package.
The VOID-556K is rated for 5.56 NATO and 6mm ARC, along with similar cartridges in that pressure and bore range. Canik recommends a minimum barrel length of 10.5 inches. If you want something for .30 caliber rifles, the VOID-762 in the same family covers that ground.

The solid end cap gives you maximum sound suppression, while the low back pressure cap vents more gas forward to cut down on the blowback that comes through the receiver on semi-autos. That means less gas in your face and a cleaner-running gun. You can swap between them depending on the host and how you plan to shoot.
Canik partnered with Otter Creek Labs, a well-respected American suppressor maker known for the Polonium line, to engineer and manufacture the VOID series in the US. The 556K uses OCL's welded 17-4 stainless baffle architecture, so you are getting proven design under the Canik name. Century Arms handles distribution.
