The heart of this rifle is a proprietary Christensen Arms action with a three-lug bolt and a short 60 degree throw. That means faster cycling and plenty of clearance between the bolt handle and the ocular bell of your scope, so you can run bigger glass without skinning your knuckles. The adjustable TriggerTech trigger breaks clean and lets you dial in the pull weight to your liking, and the 1:8 twist barrel stabilizes the long, high-BC bullets that make 6.5 PRC such a capable big game cartridge out past where most of us should be shooting anyway.
The muzzle comes threaded with an RFR-style brake installed, so felt recoil stays mild, and swapping to a suppressor is as simple as spinning the brake off. The Hybrid Hunter stock features an adjustable cheek riser for a proper cheek weld behind your optic, a hybrid grip angle that puts your hand in a natural position, low-profile texturing for wet-weather grip, sling swivel studs, and an integrated Picatinny rail section on the forend for a bipod. It is. The 22 inch barrel comes threaded, and the factory RFR-style brake spins right off so you can mount a suppressor or another muzzle device of your choice. Running it suppressed pairs really well with the already mild recoil of the 6.5 PRC.
The receiver is compatible with standard Remington 700 pattern optics bases, which opens up a huge range of rings and rails. The short 60 degree bolt throw also gives extra clearance for scopes with large ocular bells, so your bolt handle won't fight your glass.
