Left-handed hunters know the drill. Most premium rifles come in right-hand only, and the few lefty options tend to be afterthoughts. Not this one. The Ridgeline FFT in a true left-hand action gives southpaws the same lightweight carbon fiber build that made this rifle a favorite in the mountain hunting crowd, chambered in 6.5 PRC with a 20 inch barrel that keeps the whole package handy in timber or on a horse.
FFT stands for Flash Forged Technology, and it is the reason this rifle tips the scale around 5.3 pounds before you hang glass on it. The sporter-style stock is a compression molded carbon fiber shell with carbon bedding pillars and spot bedding, and Christensen extended the weight savings to the hinged floor plate and bolt knob. The barrel is a hand-lapped 416R stainless blank wrapped in aerospace-grade carbon fiber, free-floated with a match chamber and a 1:8 twist that stabilizes the heavy, high-BC bullets the 6.5 PRC was designed around. The muzzle is threaded 5/8×24 and wears a removable stainless side-baffle brake, which takes real bite out of the recoil on a rifle this light.
The action is machined stainless with a spiral-fluted twin-lug bolt and an enlarged ejection port, all run from the correct side for left-handed shooters. A TriggerTech trigger comes standard and breaks clean right out of the box, and the receiver is drilled and tapped for common Remington 700 pattern bases, so scope mounting is simple. Capacity is 3+1 through the internal magazine, plenty for hunting work, and the Burnt Bronze Cerakote metalwork over the green stock with black and tan accents looks as good as it wears.

Yes, this is a genuine left-hand configuration, not just a left-side safety on a right-hand gun. The bolt handle, ejection port, and controls are all set up for left-handed operation, so cycling from the shoulder feels natural instead of awkward.
The receiver is drilled and tapped for standard Remington 700 pattern bases, which is about as common as it gets. That opens the door to a huge range of rings, one-piece rails, and mounts from just about every manufacturer. No sights come on the rifle, so plan on adding glass.
You lose a bit compared to a 24 inch tube, but the 6.5 PRC still delivers plenty of authority for deer, antelope, and elk-sized game at practical hunting distances. The tradeoff is a rifle that is noticeably easier to carry, maneuver in brush, and run with a suppressor attached. For most hunting, it is a smart compromise.
Christensen Arms backs this rifle with their Sub-MOA guarantee, meaning it should print sub-inch groups at 100 yards with quality ammunition. The free-floated, match-chambered carbon fiber barrel and TriggerTech trigger do a lot of the heavy lifting there. Feed it good factory match or premium hunting loads and it will hold up its end.
