The Mesa Long Range in 6.5 Creedmoor runs a 26 inch 416R stainless steel barrel in a medium Palma contour, button rifled, hand lapped, free floated, and finished with a match chamber. That extra barrel length squeezes every bit of velocity out of the Creedmoor, and the 1:8 twist stabilizes the heavy, high-BC bullets this cartridge is famous for. Christensen backs it with their Sub-MOA Guarantee, which tells you how much confidence they have in the barrel work.
The carbon fiber composite long range stock is where this rifle separates itself from the standard Mesa. You get an adjustable comb and length of pull spacers, so dialing in proper eye alignment behind a big scope takes minutes instead of a trip to the gunsmith. The vertical grip and wide forearm settle nicely into bags or a bipod, and integrated bedding pillars with spot bedding keep the action locked down shot after shot. Black with gray webbing, it looks as sharp as it shoots.
The action is machined from 416 stainless billet with an enlarged ejection port and rides on the familiar Remington 700 footprint, so scope bases and rings are easy to come by. The spiral fluted, nitride-treated bolt runs smooth, and the match-grade trigger breaks clean in the 2.5 to 3.5 pound range. Up front, the muzzle is threaded 5/8×24 and wears a removable seamless side-baffle brake that takes the already mild Creedmoor recoil down to nearly nothing, and it comes off easily if you would rather run a suppressor. Feeding comes from a 4+1 internal magazine with a machined aluminum hinged floorplate, and the whole rifle wears Tungsten Cerakote for weather resistance without glare.

It is a clean, traditional setup that keeps the bottom of the rifle snag free and lets you dump rounds quickly by dropping the floorplate. If you want detachable box mags, look at Christensen's BA Tactical line instead.
