This 6.5 Creedmoor version wears a 20 inch button-rifled 416R stainless steel barrel with a 1:8 twist, free-floated and finished in Burnt Bronze Cerakote to shrug off weather season after season. The muzzle comes threaded 5/8×24 with an RFR-style brake installed, so you can run it as-is to tame what little recoil the Creedmoor has, or spin the brake off and thread on a suppressor without any extra work. And every one of these carries the Christensen Arms Sub-MOA guarantee, backed by a limited lifetime warranty.
The receiver is precision machined stainless built on the familiar Remington 700 footprint, which means a huge world of aftermarket triggers, bases, and stocks down the road if you ever want to tinker. Not that you'll feel the need to swap the trigger. The factory TriggerTech breaks clean and adjusts to your preference, so you can dial it in for a crisp hunting pull. The synthetic stock uses a hybrid grip angle that puts your hand in a natural position behind the trigger, with low-profile texturing where you grab it and a solid recoil pad out back. There's also an integrated Picatinny rail section on the forend that's tailor-made for clipping on a bipod, plus swivel studs for a sling.
At around 6.7 pounds bare, this rifle carries well whether you're still-hunting timber or hiking into open country, and the 20 inch barrel keeps overall length manageable, especially with a can attached.
