The included titanium radial brake does a lot of work taming the 7mm Rem Mag, which is welcome in a rifle starting at 5.5 pounds. Most folks find recoil closer to a light .308 with the brake on. It is removable, so you can swap it off or run a different muzzle device if you prefer.
