The Black Nitride action is machined with a full-length integral 20 MOA rail, so there's no separate base to work loose and you've got built-in elevation for stretching distance. The spiral-fluted bolt runs smooth with an oversized knob for fast cycling from awkward positions, and the enlarged ejection port keeps brass clearing cleanly. Up front, the removable stainless side-baffle brake tames what little recoil 6mm Creedmoor produces, and the 5/8×24 threaded muzzle means swapping to a suppressor is a five-minute job. The match-grade trigger breaks clean in the 2.5 to 3.5 pound range.
The carbon fiber composite tactical stock adjusts for length of pull and comb height, so you can dial in proper eye alignment behind big glass instead of craning your neck. Yes. The muzzle is threaded 5/8×24, which is the standard pattern for most 30 caliber and smaller suppressors and muzzle devices. The factory side-baffle brake is removable, so you can run the brake, a can, or a thread protector depending on the day.
It feeds from AICS-pattern detachable box magazines, which is the most common short-action precision mag standard out there. One 5-round magazine ships with the rifle, and aftermarket options from Magpul, MDT, and Accuracy International will drop right in. This model runs a 4+1 capacity with the included mag.
Christensen Arms backs every BA Tactical with their Sub-MOA guarantee, meaning it will print sub 1-inch groups at 100 yards with quality match ammunition. The free-floated carbon fiber wrapped barrel and match-grade trigger do a lot of the heavy lifting there. 6mm Creedmoor is also one of the easiest cartridges to shoot well thanks to its light recoil and flat trajectory.
The 6mm pushes lighter, high-BC bullets faster with noticeably less recoil, which makes spotting your own impacts easier and is a big reason it dominates in precision rifle competition.
