This one takes the proven Ridgeline platform and trims it down to a 16 inch carbon fiber wrapped 416R stainless barrel, giving you a rig that's quick in and out of a truck, a blind, or a tree stand. The 6mm ARC chambering is a smart pairing here too. It's mild on the shoulder, shoots flat, and the 1:7.5 twist stabilizes the heavy, high BC bullets the cartridge was built around, so you're not giving up much reach despite the short tube.
The details on this rifle are where it earns its keep. The action wears a Black Nitride finish for corrosion resistance and slick cycling, and the flat-shoe TriggerTech trigger breaks clean and crisp, the same style trigger found on Christensen's Modern Precision Rifle. Up front, a section of Picatinny rail under the forend handles bipod duty and doubles as a barricade stop for shooting off props and supports. A 0-MOA optics rail comes installed, the oversized bolt knob runs easy with gloves on, and it feeds from a 10-round AICS pattern drop-box magazine that's included. When it's time to quiet things down, the three-prong flash hider spins off the threaded muzzle so you can mount a suppressor, and the short barrel keeps overall length manageable with a can attached.
The tan sporter stock with black webbing is a carbon fiber composite, so it shrugs off weather and rough handling while keeping weight down around 5.9 pounds bare. Add in Christensen's Sub-MOA accuracy guarantee and you've got a genuinely capable crossover rifle, equally at home calling coyotes, punching steel at distance, or riding along as a do-everything ranch gun.
Yes. The 16 inch barrel comes threaded from the factory with a removable three-prong flash hider, so you can spin that off and mount a suppressor directly. The short barrel also helps keep overall length reasonable once a can is attached, which is a big part of why this rifle gets used as a suppressor host so often.
It feeds from AICS pattern detachable box magazines and ships with one 10-round drop-box mag in the box. Since AICS is one of the most common short-action magazine patterns out there, finding spares in different capacities is easy.
No optic or iron sights are included, but Christensen installs a one-piece 0-MOA Picatinny rail on the receiver so you can mount your choice of scope or red dot right away. The 0-MOA rail is a good match for the 6mm ARC's practical range with a 16 inch barrel.
