It's a single hanging silhouette shaped like a prairie dog, cut from 1/4" AR500-comparable steel and finished in a bright orange powder coat that pops against grass, dirt, or a berm from way downrange. Rated for 22LR, it's built to shrug off rimfire hits and keep giving you instant audible and visual feedback shot after shot.
The whole point of shooting steel is spending less time walking downrange and more time behind the trigger, and this one is set up for exactly that. A center hanging hole lets you rig it up on a standard target stand, a shepherd's hook, chain, or a section of firehose in a couple of minutes. The critter shape adds a little challenge and personality compared to a plain gong, which makes it a favorite for plinking sessions with the family or working on precision with a scoped 22.
Champion builds these from AR500-comparable steel specifically because rimfire ranges see a lot of rounds. The 1/4" thickness is matched to 22LR impact so the face stays flat and dent-free instead of cratering like cheaper mild steel. That high-visibility orange coating isn't just for looks either, it makes the target easy to spot at distance and easy to see when a shot chips the paint, so you always know where you connected.

This target is rated for 22LR rimfire. The 1/4" AR500-comparable steel is matched to rimfire impact, so keep it to 22LR at reasonable distances to avoid denting or cratering the face. It isn't intended for centerfire rifle rounds.
It has a center hole so you can mount it just about any way you like. Popular setups include a standard target stand, a plant shepherd's hook, chain, or a strip of firehose or nylon strap. That flexible hanging setup gets you shooting in a couple of minutes.
For rimfire steel, a good rule of thumb is to keep a safe standoff distance and always wear eye protection because of splatter. Backing off a bit also protects the powder coat and the steel face over the long run. Follow safe steel-shooting practices and it'll hold up for thousands of rounds.
The bright orange powder coat will chip where rounds strike, and that's actually helpful since it shows exactly where you're hitting. A fresh coat of high-visibility spray paint brings it right back when you want a clean face again. The steel underneath is what does the real work.
