Nothing kills the fun of a plinking session faster than trudging downrange every few minutes to stand your targets back up. The Champion .22 Diamond Pop-Up Target fixes that with a heavy-duty spring mount that snaps the diamond right back upright the second you knock it over. Hit it, hear the clang, watch it fall and reset, and keep sending rounds. It's the kind of simple, satisfying setup that turns an afternoon with a .22 into a relay race you never have to leave.
The diamond plate measures 7-1/2 inches by 2-3/4 inches and wears a bright orange coat that stands out against dirt, brush, or a berm. That visibility matters whether you're running a scope or plain iron sights, and folks regularly call hits out past 100 yards. The whole thing is welded steel built to shrug off repeated rimfire impacts and weather, so you can leave it staked out at your usual spot without babying it.
Flexibility is a big part of the appeal here. The base comes with four ground stakes that push straight into the earth for a quick setup wherever you're shooting. Prefer something more permanent? The metal base has pre-drilled holes so you can screw it down onto an elevated wooden post or platform, which is handy for raising the target to a better sightline or building a semi-permanent range station.
One thing to keep in mind: this one is built specifically for .22 Long Rifle and other rimfire rounds. It's a plinker's target through and through, made for 10/22s, bolt guns, and rimfire pistols. Keep the centerfire stuff pointed at heavier steel and this Champion will give you a long stretch of reset-free shooting. A quick coat of paint now and then brings the orange back to fresh after a few hundred rounds.
Yes. The diamond sits on a heavy-duty spring mount that automatically returns it upright after each hit. You knock it down, it clangs, and it pops right back up so you never have to walk downrange to reset between shots.
It's designed specifically for .22 Long Rifle and other rimfire rounds, making it ideal for 10/22-style rifles, bolt-action .22s, and rimfire pistols. Stick to rimfire ammo and it holds up well over hundreds of rounds. Centerfire calibers are too much for this plate and should be saved for heavier steel.
You have two options. The base includes four stakes that push straight into the ground for a fast setup, or you can use the pre-drilled holes in the metal base to screw it onto an elevated wooden post or platform for a more permanent range station.
The plate is finished in bright orange and stands 7-1/2 inches tall, so it's easy to pick up whether you're using a scope or iron sights. Plenty of folks report spotting and hitting it well past 100 yards with a .22 rifle.
