The Carlson's Cremator Ported Long-Range Choke Tube is built for the hunter who lives for those high, hard-passing shots where a tight, even pattern makes all the difference. This is the Remington (Rem Choke) thread version in 12 gauge, machined to a .705 long-range constriction and finished in matte black. It's the tube you reach for when the birds are working the edges of your spread and you need every pellet you can get downrange.
The heart of this choke is Carlson's Triple Shot Technology, a set of three graduated rings in the taper that ease the shot column from the bore down to the final constriction. That gradual step-down means less pellet deformation, a shorter shot string, and fewer flyers, which adds up to denser, more consistent patterns. It handles lead, steel, and tungsten-blend loads without any size or speed restrictions on steel, so you can run the hot waterfowl loads you already trust.
The ports up top vent gas to help tame muzzle jump, which keeps you on target for that quick second or third shot on a group of birds. Being an extended tube, it sticks out about three quarters of an inch past the muzzle, giving you a 25 percent longer parallel section for tighter patterns plus wrench-free install and removal. That extra length also shields your barrel threads from wear when you're running steel shot all season.

This version is threaded for the Remington Rem Choke pattern, which fits Remington 12 gauge shotguns and many other guns that use Rem Choke threads. The long-range constriction is built for those farther passing shots, generally holding tight, dense patterns out past 40 yards. It shines on high-flying ducks and geese working the edges of your decoys. For closer decoying birds, a mid-range constriction would give you a slightly more forgiving spread.
This tube installs and removes by hand thanks to its extended body, so no wrench is required. The extension gives you plenty of grip to thread it in and back it out even with cold, gloved hands in the blind.
