When spring gobbler season rolls around, the choke in the end of your barrel does a lot of the heavy lifting. Carlson's Extended Turkey Choke in 20 gauge with a .575 constriction is built to pull your shot string together into a tight, even pattern so more pellets land in the kill zone. It carries Carlson's part number 10300 and fits the Winchester / Browning Invector / Mossberg 500 thread pattern, which also covers a lot of Weatherby and Savage pump and semi-auto guns.
The tube is machined from 17-4 heat-treated stainless steel, so it stands up to the heavy buffered turkey loads folks run these days without wearing out. It wears a matte blue finish and sticks out about an inch past the muzzle, giving you that extended profile that makes it easy to grab and swap.
The real trick is the 1.050 inch parallel section inside the tube. That extra-long straight run settles the shot before it leaves the barrel, which tightens the core of your pattern and cuts down on the random fliers that open things up.
