When Taran Butler puts his name on a pistol, people pay attention. The Canik TTI Combat is the result of a full-on collaboration between Canik and Taran Tactical Innovations, and it shows everywhere you look. The frame is a new design built to TTI's specs with aggressive grip texturing, ambidextrous controls, and a flared magwell for quick reloads. Up front, a ported and spiral-fluted 4.6-inch barrel works together with Canik's quick-attach compensator to keep the muzzle planted during fast strings. The two-tone bronze Cerakote slide against the black frame gives it a look you will not mistake for anything else on the rack.
Between the barrel porting and the compensator, recoil on this gun is impressively soft for a polymer-framed 9mm. The flat-faced trigger breaks clean at 90 degrees, and the slide features lightening cuts plus a deep optic cut that lets your red dot sit low enough to keep a solid co-witness with the fiber optic front and adjustable rear sights. Three optic plates come in the case, covering the Shield RMSc and Trijicon RMR/SRO footprints, so mounting your favorite dot is a quick job. Canik even tosses in a lighter recoil spring assembly for softer competition loads.
This is where Canik keeps embarrassing the competition. The hard case includes two 18-round magazines with TTI +3 base pads that bump you up to 21 rounds each, a competition-style holster, cleaning kit, tool kit, magazine loader, punch, and a collectible Canik/TTI collaboration coin. Most brands charge extra for half of that list.

The TTI Combat ships with three optic plates that cover two of the most popular footprints out there. Two plates fit the Shield RMSc pattern, which covers a huge range of compact dots, and the third fits the Trijicon RMR and SRO footprint. The optic cut is machined deep so your dot sits low and can co-witness with the iron sights.
The two included magazines hold 18 rounds each in their standard configuration. Canik also includes TTI +3 base pad extensions in the case, which bump each mag up to 21 rounds. With one in the chamber, that gives you a 21+1 setup once the extensions are installed.
Yes, it uses Canik's quick-attach design, so it comes off without a trip to a gunsmith. Keep in mind the barrel itself is also ported, so you still get some recoil reduction even with the comp removed. Most owners leave it on since it is a big part of what makes this gun shoot so flat.
It genuinely does both well. The compensator, flat trigger, flared magwell, and included lighter recoil spring make it a natural fit for matches and fast-paced range work. At the same time, the full-size polymer frame, high capacity, and optics-ready slide make it a very capable all-around 9mm for training and home use.
