The METE SFx is Canik's long-slide range and competition pistol, and it packs a lot of gun into one hard case. You get a full-size, striker-fired 9mm with a match-grade 5.2 inch barrel, a long sight radius that makes distance work easier, and one of the better factory triggers in the striker-fired world. Canik's single-action trigger system breaks clean with a short, tactile reset, and it is a big reason people who pick one of these up at the counter tend to walk out with it. This version runs a 10+1 capacity and includes two 10-round magazines.
The METE series took everything that worked on the popular TP9 line and refined it based on real feedback. Aggressive 360-degree grip texturing keeps the pistol planted through fast strings, the integrally flared magwell speeds up reloads, and the double undercut trigger guard lets your support hand ride high where it belongs. Controls are set up for either hand, with an ambidextrous slide stop and a reversible magazine release. Interchangeable backstraps let you dial the grip to your hand size, and the whole platform disassembles easily with the included Canik punch, no trigger pull required for takedown.
The serrated slide comes cut for red dots with a co-witness height mounting system, and two optic plates come in the box to cover popular footprints like the Shield RMSc and Trijicon RMR patterns. Prefer irons? The white 3-dot sights work fine as they sit. There is also a Picatinny rail up front for a light or laser.
At around 30 ounces, the SFx soaks up 9mm recoil and stays flat, which is exactly what you want for steel plates, target work, or a long day of practice. Add in the hard case, reversible holster, cleaning kit, and toolkit, and this is one of the most complete packages you will find on a full-size 9mm.
The SFx comes with two optic mounting plates that cover popular footprints, including the Shield RMSc and Trijicon RMR patterns, plus Canik's own ONYX and PHANTOM optics. The slide cut is set up for co-witness height, so many dots will line up with the factory irons. Check your specific optic's footprint against the included plates before mounting.

The 5.2 inch barrel, long sight radius, flared magwell, and roughly 30-ounce weight are all features borrowed straight from the competition world, so it stays flat and tracks well through fast strings. It also makes a great dedicated range and target pistol if matches are not your thing.
