Chambered in .338 Lapua Magnum with a 5+1 capacity, this rifle is centered on the CDX-33 Patriot action, machined from 416 stainless steel using CNC and wire EDM processes, then Cerakoted for durability. The three-lug bolt runs a short 60 degree throw so you can cycle fast without smacking your scope, and the fluting trims weight while keeping things smooth.
Cadex went with a 27 inch Bartlein match grade barrel here, and that choice matters. It wears a straight taper profile with fluting to cut weight and help it shed heat between strings, plus 5R single point cut rifling with a 1:9.5 twist that stabilizes the heavy, high-BC bullets the .338 Lapua was born to launch. The muzzle is threaded 3/4-24 and comes topped with Cadex's MX1 brake, which takes real bite out of the recoil. Pull the brake and you're ready for a suppressor.
The Lite Strike chassis is machined from 6061-T6 aluminum billet, anodized, and finished in non-reflective paint. The reverse-folding buttstock locks up rattle free, shields the bolt handle, and shrinks the rifle down for transport. Length of pull, cheek height, and recoil pad height all adjust without tools. Up front, the free-floating forend gives you M-LOK real estate plus rail sections at 3, 6, and 9 o'clock, and the full-length 30 MOA top rail leaves plenty of elevation in your turret for extended distances.
