Level II means the holster holds your P365 with two layers of security: the molded fit around the gun plus the active locking mechanism that engages when you seat it. The gun won't release until your index finger slides across the release during the draw. It's a nice safeguard for outside the waistband carry where the pistol is a bit more exposed.
Since the P365X shares the exact same slide length as the standard P365, it should fit this holster just fine, though a quick unloaded test fit is always smart. The P365XL has a longer slide and barrel, so it will not seat correctly in this one. If you run an XL, grab the holster built for that model instead.
