Running a suppressed setup means you deal with heat, and that is where this Bulldog bag earns its keep. It is built to haul two rifles in a padded 38-inch compartment, and it ships with a removable suppressor pouch that has been heat tested up to 600 degrees Fahrenheit. That means you can drop a warm can into its own dedicated spot right after firing instead of waiting around for it to cool or letting it scorch the inside of your case.
The main rifle compartment uses lockdown straps with padded muzzle and stock sleeves on both the top and bottom, plus a heat-resistant 600D poly oxford interior lining. A removable padded divider separates your two rifles and doubles as a shooting mat when you pull it out. Up front you get serious organization: a padded left pocket with two 9 by 10 inch mesh utility pockets and three magazine slots, a molded EVA center pocket with a mesh utility pouch and a removable universal pistol holster, and a right pocket with laser-cut MOLLE. Morale patch panels are scattered across the front if you like to dress yours up.
The zippered back pocket hides a set of deluxe backpack-style shoulder straps, so you can sling it on your back when your hands are full or the walk to the firing line is a long one. There is also an adjustable, removable padded shoulder strap with swivels for the more traditional over-the-shoulder carry. The exterior is a 600D water-resistant laminated poly oxford fabric that shrugs off light rain and the usual tailgate abuse. Folks who own Bulldog bags tend to come back for more, and the recurring theme in owner feedback is solid padding, roomy storage, and a build that holds up trip after trip.
External dimensions run roughly 38.5 inches tall by 13 inches wide by 4 inches deep, giving you plenty of room for full-length ARs, precision rigs, or a pair of hunting rifles.
Yes, the 38-inch compartment is built for two rifles and uses a removable padded divider to keep them apart. It fits full-length ARs and most precision or hunting rifles up to that length. If your barrels or suppressors push the rifle past 38 inches, you may want to step up to the 48 or 52 inch version in the same series.
The included suppressor pouch has a heat-resistant interior tested up to 600 degrees Fahrenheit. That lets you stow a can straight off the range without waiting for it to cool or risking damage to the rest of your gear. The pouch measures about 10 inches long by 2.5 inches in diameter and fits suppressors up to 9 inches, and it detaches with a quick buckle when you do not need it.
It has both carry options covered. A zippered back panel hides deluxe backpack-style shoulder straps so you can go hands-free, and there is also a removable padded shoulder strap with swivels for a traditional sling carry. That flexibility is handy when you are hauling two loaded rifles plus gear across a parking lot or down a trail.
The shell is a 600D water-resistant laminated poly oxford fabric, so it handles light rain and damp conditions without soaking through. It is not meant to be submerged, but for typical range trips and field use it keeps your rifles protected. The heavy-duty build and padding are what owners consistently point to as the bag's strong suit.
