B&T built its reputation on suppressors that hold up to serious use, and the SQD-M takes that pedigree in a genuinely useful direction. This is a modular 9mm can that pairs the company's Reduced Backpressure System with its Super Quick Disconnect tri-lug mount, which might be the fastest 3-lug attachment out there. Press it over the barrel, the spring-loaded collar snaps down onto the lugs, and you're locked in. Pulling it off is just as simple: depress the tab and slide it free. One hand, no tools, no wrestling with a locking ring.
The modularity here is more than a marketing bullet point. A removable RBS-compatible section lets you run the suppressor full length for maximum sound reduction or drop to a compact configuration when handling matters more than every last decibel. On top of that, B&T includes both vented and non-vented end caps. The vented cap keeps gas moving forward and cuts down on blowback, while the non-vented cap seals the system for the quietest performance. Mix and match, and you end up with four different setups tailored to how you shoot that day.
The main tube is 3D printed from 100 percent titanium in a weldless design, keeping weight between roughly 13.6 and 19.8 ounces depending on configuration, with a stainless steel end cap and a gray Type 2 anodized finish. The included 3-lug mount rides on a standard 1.375×24 HUB interface, so it swaps out for other 9mm HUB mounts if your setup changes down the road.
This can was made for tri-lug hosts, and it locks onto B&T's own APC9, SPC9, and GHM9 as well as HK MP5 and MP5K variants with in-spec tri-lug barrels. If you run a pistol-caliber carbine or subgun and want a suppressor that mounts as fast as you can press it on, adapts to the job at hand, and keeps gas out of your face, the SQD-M is a hard one to beat.
