Description
Anyone who has stood shoulder to shoulder with a shooter running a brake or comp knows the deal. The person behind the trigger is fine, but everyone off to the sides catches a wall of concussion and noise. The Breek Arms Trash Shield is a straightforward mechanical fix for that. It is a blast forwarder, not a suppressor, that threads onto any HUB-compatible mount using the industry-standard 1.375×24 pattern and redirects that side blast out toward the target instead.
How the Trash Shield Works With Your Setup
This thing is built to slide right into an existing suppressor-ready rig. It pairs with Plan B, Breek LOK, and any standard HUB mount already floating around the suppressor market, so if you have a compatible muzzle device you are most of the way there. It screws on by hand and comes off the same way, no tools involved. When it is on, the blast goes downrange. When you pull it off, your muzzle device gets its full compensating job back instantly. Worth noting the Trash Shield needs a separate HUB mount to attach to, and that piece is not included in the box.
What the Trash Shield Is Built From
Breek machines the body out of 7075-T6 aluminum and finishes it with Type III hard-coat anodizing, so it holds up to heat and range abuse while staying light. Aggressive cuts run along the outside, which look sharp but earn their keep by giving you a solid grip for quick hand-tight installs and removals. It adds barely any length and next to no weight, so it does not throw off the balance of your build.
Where the Trash Shield Earns Its Keep
This is a device that shines in tight quarters. Indoor ranges, training bays, team drills, and match settings where you have judges, RSOs, and other folks standing close by are exactly where redirecting that blast pays off. It keeps the shooting environment more controlled and comfortable during high-volume sessions, and the aggressive look does not hurt either.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need anything else to run the Trash Shield?
Yes. The Trash Shield threads onto a HUB-compatible mount using the 1.375×24 pattern, and that mount is not included. You will need a Plan B, Breek LOK, or another standard HUB mount already installed on your muzzle device before this can attach.
Is the Trash Shield a suppressor?
No, it is a blast forwarder, not a suppressor. It does not quiet the gun the way a can does. Instead it redirects concussion, noise, and muzzle blast forward and downrange so the person shooting and anyone standing nearby catch far less side blast.
Does the Trash Shield affect how my muzzle brake performs?
While the Trash Shield is installed, your underlying brake or comp gives up some of its recoil-managing effect since the gas is being pushed forward rather than used to fight recoil. The upside is you can hand-thread it off in seconds to get full compensating performance back. Swapping between the two setups takes almost no time.
Where does the Trash Shield make the biggest difference?
It is at its best in confined spaces like indoor ranges, training bays, and team drills. Anywhere people are standing close to the shooter, redirecting the blast downrange keeps things noticeably more comfortable. Competition shooters also like it for keeping concussion off judges and observers.
