Description
Charging your AR-10 shouldn't be a two-handed wrestling match, and it definitely shouldn't send a puff of hot gas straight back at your eyes every time the bolt cycles. The Breek Arms Warhammer MOD2 tackles both problems at once. It's a fully ambidextrous handle machined from 7075-T6 aluminum, with big, textured, set-back latches you can grab from either side without hunting for the right spot. The set-back geometry gives you room to work around larger optics and mounts that sit close to your eye, and the low-profile body keeps things looking clean on the back of the receiver.
What Sets the Warhammer MOD2 Apart
The MOD2 update is really about gas management. Breek added relief cuts to the top and bottom of the stem to steer excess gas out the sides and away from your face, then raised the rear shelf to shield the back of the upper from anything that tries to blow straight back. If you shoot suppressed or run an overgassed gun, this is the part you'll notice most. The latches also have a slightly shorter throw than a lot of competing handles, so charging feels quick and positive whether you're bare-handed or wearing gloves.
Fitment and Setup for the AR-10 Warhammer
This is a genuine drop-in job. Pull your factory handle, slide the Warhammer in, drop the bolt carrier back, and you're done. No tools, no fitting, no fuss. It's built for DPMS Gen1 and Armalite-pattern AR-10 / LR-308 uppers, and Breek lists compatibility with Aero M5, DPMS Gen1 High and Low, Knights Armament SR25, STAG-10, Armalite AR10, and Daniel Defense DD5 V3 through V5, among others on those platforms.
For the price, it's tough to beat what the Warhammer brings to a .308 build. You get the ergonomics and gas-taming features people usually pay a lot more for, wrapped in a durable aluminum body that holds up to real range time.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will the Warhammer MOD2 fit my AR-10?
It's designed for DPMS Gen1 and Armalite-pattern AR-10 / LR-308 uppers. Breek lists compatibility with rifles like the Aero M5, DPMS Gen1 High and Low, Knights Armament SR25, STAG-10, Armalite AR10, and Daniel Defense DD5 V3 through V5. It won't fit DPMS Gen2-style uppers such as the SIG716, Ruger SFAR, Savage MSR10, or Smith & Wesson M&P10, so check your upper's pattern before ordering.
Does the MOD2 really cut down on gas blowback when shooting suppressed?
That's the whole point of the MOD2 revision. Relief cuts on the top and bottom of the stem redirect excess gas out the sides, and the raised rear shelf covers more of the back of the upper to block gas heading straight back. Suppressor users and folks running overgassed guns tend to notice the difference right away.
How hard is the Warhammer MOD2 to install?
It's about as easy as gun upgrades get. Pull your existing charging handle out of the upper, slide the Warhammer in its place, and reinstall the bolt carrier group. No tools or fitting required.
Can I run the Warhammer MOD2 with a large optic mounted close to my eye?
Yes, and that's actually one of its strengths. The set-back latches sit rearward of the receiver, giving you room to reach around bulkier optic mounts. The textured grooves also make it easy to grab and charge from either side, even with gloves on.
