This is a two-piece system. The outer shell is DuPont Kevlar diamond weave ripstop in black, rated for 1000F sustained and 1500F at peak. Underneath sits a fiberglass mesh sleeve that handles up to 2000F and takes the direct contact with the suppressor tube. Together they add only about a quarter inch to the overall diameter, so you keep a slim profile that still clears most handguards and rifle cases. With a single FR sleeve installed, the setup is built to handle roughly 90 rounds of full-auto fire before it needs a full cooldown, which is more abuse than most range days will ever dish out.
