This version is built for .22 caliber pistols and revolvers, pairing the one-pass Viper snake with a clear storage case that keeps everything together between range trips. What makes the Viper different from the standard BoreSnake is the extra scrubbing power. It runs an additional integrated bronze brush for roughly a third more cleaning muscle, digging carbon fouling loose while the braided tail follows behind with a surface area many times larger than a standard patch. The snake is designed to travel the same direction the bullet does, so the rifling stays happy. When the bronze finally wears out, you can toss the whole thing in the wash and keep using it.
The Den case is the real convenience here. The lid snaps off and becomes a pull handle, then clicks back onto the clear case for storage, so you are not fishing around for a separate T-handle.
