The Hoppe's BoreSnake Den takes the fastest bore cleaner around and gives it a proper home. This is the classic pull-through rope sized specifically for .20 and .204 caliber rifles, now bundled with a small clear carrying case that keeps everything tidy between cleanings. Drop the weighted end down the barrel, pull it through, and you're done. No rods, no loose patches, no fuss.
The rope does the heavy lifting in one pass. An integrated bronze brush scrubs out carbon fouling as it travels down the bore, then the thick cleaning tail swabs everything loose on its way through. That tail carries a surface area about 160 times larger than a standard patch, so you cover a lot of ground in a single pull. Run it dry for a quick field wipe, or add a little Hoppe's No. 9 or CLP to the head and tail for a deeper clean before storage. The whole snake is machine washable too, so you can freshen it up and use it over and over.
The Den itself is the upgrade longtime BoreSnake fans have been waiting for. The lid snaps off and doubles as a T-handle, which means you grab and pull with real leverage instead of wrapping the string around your knuckles. When you're done, the snake coils back inside the case and the handle clicks into place to seal it up. This snake is built for .20 and .204 caliber rifle bores, including the popular .204 Ruger. The rope diameter is matched to that bore size so the bronze brush and tail make solid contact as you pull them through. Some folks also use it on .22 rimfire barrels since it pulls through a little easier, but it's designed and sized for .20 caliber.
