Yes, that's the big draw. The 3 inch barrels have 2.5 inch chambers that accept either .45 Colt cartridges or 2.5 inch .410 shotshells, and you can even load one of each. Note that 3 inch .410 shells will not fit this barrel, so stick with 2.5 inch shotshells.
