The BOG DeathGrip 360 answers a problem every hunter knows well: staying comfortable and quiet for hours while still being ready to take a clean, steady shot. It marries the all-day comfort of BOG's Nucleus 360 chair with the locked-down stability of their DeathGrip clamp, giving you a hands-free rest that lets you sit, scan, and settle in without ever picking up the weight of your rifle.
The DeathGrip clamping head sits on a center-post mount with vertical and lateral adjustment, so you can dial in the perfect position and let go completely. That clamp holds your rifle or crossbow secure enough to work whether your target is 20 yards out or pushing 200. Because the seat pivots a full 360 degrees, you can track movement all around you and swing onto a target from a completely supported position instead of scrambling to shoulder your gun.
The frame is built from lightweight aluminum with a set of four independently adjustable legs, which means you can level it out on rough, uneven ground and still stay rock solid. The seating uses heavy-duty textilene fabric that breathes well, shrugs off weather, and stays comfortable across a long sit. It also handles up to 400 pounds, so it fits a wide range of body types.
One of the smartest touches here is the quiet center-pivot technology. Instead of noisy leg couplers and telescoping sections that clank and squeak at the worst moment, the DeathGrip 360 moves and adjusts without the racket that sends deer bolting. Pair that with the extendable seat area for a custom fit, and you have a rest that works just as well sighting in at the range as it does buried in a blind. It leans toward the heavier side thanks to that stout build, but that heft is exactly what keeps it from swaying when it counts.
Yes. The DeathGrip clamping head is designed to lock down both rifles and crossbows, so you can run it for either during the season. It gives you the same steady, hands-free hold whether you are gun hunting or working with a crossbow.
It is built with quiet center-pivot technology that skips the noisy couplers and telescoping leg sections found on lesser setups. That means you can adjust and swivel without the clanking that spooks game. It works great in a blind or out in the open.
It has four independently adjustable legs, so you can extend each one to compensate for slopes, roots, and rough terrain. This lets you get a level, stable platform almost anywhere. You can also raise the seat height to match your blind or bench.
It carries some weight thanks to its stout aluminum frame and steel components, which is part of what keeps it from swaying when you settle in for a shot. Most users find the extra heft worth the trade for how solid it feels. If you are hauling it a long way, plan for a chair that is more substantial than a folding camp seat.
