This kit pairs the .458 caliber HUB pattern shroud (1-3/8-24 thread) with the DA455 Xeno adapter, so it slips right over any Xeno mount muzzle device already on your rifle. Take your can off, spin the shroud on, and your brake or flash hider stays put on the barrel. The through bore clears up to .458 caliber, which means one shroud covers everything from a 5.56 SBR to a .300 Blackout pistol to big-bore stuff. Since it works as a linear compensator too, muzzle rise stays minimal and your sight picture holds through strings of fire. On stubby builds it also pushes the muzzle out past your support hand, which is a nice bit of insurance on guns where your thumb lives close to the bore.
The shroud is machined from 4140 heat-treated alloy steel with a black nitride finish, and the Xeno adapter is 17-4 stainless.
