The Vickers Sling earned its reputation as the standard against which every other tactical sling gets measured, and this padded 2-to-1 version takes that proven platform and adds the option to run either two-point or one-point without swapping gear. It was designed with input from Larry Vickers, a retired 1st SFOD-Delta operator, so the layout reflects real-world carry and transition needs rather than a spec sheet. If you have run a plain nylon sling on a heavier build all day, you already know why the padded rear section matters.
The magic here is the push button swivel up front paired with a molded socket woven into the rear of the sling. To go from two-point to one-point, you pull the front swivel off the muzzle-end attachment point and click it into the rear socket. The whole move takes a couple of seconds and needs no tools, buckles, or fumbling. Two-point mode keeps the rifle secure and controlled for the range, hunting, or general carry, while one-point mode gives you the freedom to move fast around vehicles or tight structures. Best part is the quick adjuster still works in both configurations, so you never lose that instant tighten-and-loosen ability.
The body is 1.25-inch Cordura webbing with a 2-inch closed cell foam pad built inline, so it won't slide around, soak up water, or peel apart over time. The quick adjuster lets you cinch the gun tight against your body for hands-free carry, then drop it loose for a proper shooting position with one tug on the pull tab. Overall length runs roughly 57 to 67 inches, giving you plenty of room to fit it over a plate carrier or run it slick.
