The Blue Force Gear Universal Wire Loop is the answer for those, giving you a flexible nylon-coated stainless steel cable that threads through eyelets, loops, slots, or pretty much any opening the wire will fit. This 6.25" version gives you extra length to wrap around handguards, buttstocks, and larger mounting points where the shorter loop comes up short.

The sling loop body is CNC machined from 6061-T6 aluminum billet, then tumbled and bead-blasted for a non-reflective finish before getting a hard-coat anodize that shrugs off wear and corrosion. The length refers to the wire loop measured from the base of the sling loop to the top of the loop. The 6.25" gives you more cable to work with, which makes it much easier to wrap around larger mounting points like AK buttstocks, barrels, and wide handguards. If you're threading through a tight eyelet or a small slot, the shorter 3.25" version is often the better pick.

The stainless steel aircraft-grade core is built to withstand barrel heat and won't melt. The nylon outer coating can deform under extreme heat, but the structural cable inside stays intact. For most sling mounting positions this is a non-issue.
