The Birchwood Casey Dirty Bird Multi-Color Bull's-Eye is built around one simple idea: you should be able to see your hits the moment they happen. When a round punches through, the coating around the hole peels back to reveal a bright underlayer, leaving a jagged, paint-splatter rim that pops against the target face. What makes this one stand out is that each ring reacts in its own color, so you can read your grouping and call shots from behind the bench instead of hiking downrange every few strings.
The 12-inch format gives you a generous aiming area that works well for both pistol work and longer rifle sessions. There's a defined aiming point that plays nice with open sights or a scope, and the center includes a tie-breaking ring for those days when you're keeping score with a buddy. The color contrast does the heavy lifting here, letting you evaluate shot placement and consistency at a glance.
These sheets use heavy tagboard construction, so they hang up and hold their shape indoors or out. The backing is non-adhesive, which means you can pin or tape them however your setup calls for, jot notes right on the sheet, and tuck them away to track your progress over time. They're a solid pick for sight-in work, load testing, casual plinking, and tactical or pistol-action training drills.
With 100 targets in the box, this pack is made for folks who shoot often and don't want to run out mid-season. It's the kind of bulk buy that pays off if you're zeroing rifles, running practice sessions, or just spending regular time at the range.
When a bullet passes through, the surface coating around the hole shrivels and exposes a brighter layer underneath, creating a splatter-style rim that's easy to spot. On this version, each ring reacts in a different high-visibility color. That contrast lets you read your groups and correct your point of aim without walking downrange after every string.
The Dirty Bird bull's-eye targets have a non-adhesive back, so you'll mount them with tape, pins, staples, or a target frame depending on your setup. The upside is flexibility. You can hang them anywhere, write notes right on the sheet, and save them afterward to track your progress.
Yes. The 12-inch size gives you plenty of aiming area for pistol work at closer distances and rifle sessions at longer ranges. There's a clear aiming point that works with iron sights or a scope, making them a good fit for sight-in work, load testing, and general practice.
They're made from heavy tagboard, which keeps them stiff enough to hang cleanly indoors or outside at the range. The sturdier construction helps them stay put in typical range conditions. Just keep in mind that like any paper target, they hold up best when they're not left soaking in the rain.
