The Dirty Bird name has been a range-day staple for years, and this 12 x 18 silhouette pack is the workhorse of the lineup. Each target is printed on heavy tagboard and reacts the moment a round passes through, leaving a bright white ring around every hole. That contrast is the whole point here, letting you call your shots from the firing line without walking downrange or reaching for a spotting scope. Buying 100 at a time means you are set for a long stretch of range trips before you need to restock.
The splatter reaction is the star. Instead of a dark hole disappearing into a dark target, the impact leaves a light halo you can pick out from a distance. That saves real time between strings of fire, which adds up fast when you are running drills or working through a box of ammo. The silhouette shape also makes it easy to track center-mass groupings and drill on point of aim versus point of impact.
These are the hanging style with a non-adhesive back, so they clip onto standard range hangers, staple to a backer, or pin to a cardboard frame with no fuss. The heavy tagboard holds up better than thin printer-paper targets and stands up to a bit of wind on an outdoor stand. Because the back is blank, you can jot down notes, dates, or load data and stash the target for later comparison. That makes them handy for tracking progress over time or logging how a particular handgun and load perform.
They work great for handgun practice, plinking, and general marksmanship work, and they hold up equally well at an indoor lane or an outdoor pit. For anyone who burns through targets at the range, a bulk box of these is a no-brainer to keep on the shelf.
As a round passes through the target, it strips away the dark surface coating and leaves a bright white ring around the hole. That high-contrast halo makes each hit easy to spot from the firing line, so you can check your groups without walking downrange every few shots.
Yes. The heavy tagboard construction is suited to both indoor lanes and outdoor ranges, and it holds up better in the breeze than thin paper targets. They clip or staple onto standard target stands and backers with no trouble.
No, these have a non-adhesive back. That lets you hang, staple, or pin them wherever you like, and the blank back gives you room to write down dates, loads, or notes so you can save targets and compare progress later.
The 12 x 18 silhouette shape is a great fit for handgun practice, defensive drills, and general marksmanship work. Plenty of folks use them for plinking and center-mass training too, and the 100-count pack keeps you stocked for a long run of range days.
