Most AR-15s ask you to reach back over your optic to charge the rifle. The Bilson Arms BA-15FC says forget that. Its patented forward charging handle sits on the handguard, so you can chamber a round or clear a hiccup with your support hand while keeping your eyes on target and your optic mount completely out of the way. It sounds like a small thing until you run one, and then a standard charging handle starts to feel like a step backward. Everything is built in-house at Bilson's Broussard, Louisiana shop using 100 percent American-made parts, and the billet upper and lower stay dimensionally mil-spec, so aftermarket parts still play nice.
The 16-inch 4150/4151 CrMoV steel barrel wears a 1:8 twist that handles the full spread of 300 Blackout loads, from fast 110 grain supersonics for hogs and deer-sized game out to around 300 yards, down to heavy 190 to 220 grain subsonics that get impressively quiet behind a suppressor. The muzzle comes threaded 5/8-24 with an A2 birdcage installed, so swapping to a can or brake takes minutes. Feeding from a 20-round magazine for 20+1 on tap, it cycles standard AR mags and components like any Blackout should.

Yes. Bilson machines the billet receivers to mil-spec dimensions, so triggers, grips, stocks, and other standard AR-15 components will fit. Since 300 Blackout was designed around the AR platform, it also feeds from standard AR magazines, and this one ships with a 20-rounder for 20+1 capacity.
