The Monte Carlo walnut stock features a raised comb and cheek piece that lines your eye up naturally behind a scope, and it wears multiple coats of oil for a warm, traditional finish. Underneath the wood, Bergara machines two oversized holes and fills them with metal-infused epoxy resin, then CNC machines the cured pillars to tight tolerances. Those solid pillars surround the action screws, giving you the stability of a bedded rifle while keeping the classic wood-and-steel character.
