Machined in the USA from 416 stainless steel, this action is built to hold tolerances and shrug off weather in the field. The spiral-fluted bolt body cuts down on binding and trims a little weight, while the nitride bayonet-style quarter-turn bolt shroud keeps friction low and cycling crisp. An enlarged bolt handle gives you plenty to grab when you are running the bolt fast or working with cold hands and gloves.
Reliable feeding is where a precision action earns its keep, and this one comes equipped with a dual ejector and a sliding plate extractor to kick brass clear and grip the case rim with authority.
