The heart of the rifle is a 26-inch, No. 6 contour Bergara barrel with a 1:9 twist, giving heavy, high-BC bullets the velocity and stability they need to perform way out past where most hunting rifles tap out. The muzzle is threaded 5/8×24 and wears Bergara's Omni multi-ported brake from the factory, which knocks felt recoil down considerably. That matters on a magnum you plan to shoot a lot, whether you're working up loads or stretching steel on the weekend.
HMR stands for Hunting and Match Rifle, and the stock design is where that dual personality shows. An aluminum mini-chassis is molded directly into the synthetic stock, giving the action a rigid, repeatable bedding surface so your zero stays put. The adjustable cheekpiece and length-of-pull spacers let you dial in fit behind a big scope, and QD flush cups plus sling studs cover however you like to carry or bag up. The hand-painted woodland camo finish with added texture gives you solid grip with gloves or wet hands.

Yes. The Omni brake threads onto a standard 5/8×24 muzzle, so it comes off easily and the rifle will accept most .30 caliber suppressors or other muzzle devices with that thread pitch. The muzzle underneath is cleanly crowned from the factory.
The receiver is drilled and tapped for Remington 700 pattern rings and bases, which is about as common as it gets. You can run a one-piece Picatinny rail or traditional two-piece bases, and with the .300 PRC being a long-range cartridge, a 20 MOA rail is a smart pick if you plan to stretch it out.
