The receiver is drilled and tapped for Remington 700 pattern bases using 8×40 screws, so your mounting options are wide open. Just make sure the base or rail you pick is specifically the 8×40 screw version rather than the more common 6×48. A one-piece 20 MOA rail is a smart choice if you plan to shoot at extended distances.
