Instead of just sleeving steel in carbon like everyone else, Bergara weaves stainless strands into the carbon itself to pull heat away from the bore, so the 22 inch barrel stays stiff and consistent shot after shot. The 1:10 twist handles the full range of .300 Win Mag bullets, and the 5/8×24 threaded muzzle comes with an Omni brake installed to tame recoil, or spin it off for your suppressor.
The Crest stock is 100 percent carbon fiber, built with CF-RTM technology borrowed from aerospace manufacturing, with an internal carbon spine running through it for rigidity. The Monte Carlo comb lines your eye up naturally behind a scope, and length of pull spacers let you dial the fit to your frame and your hunting layers. Bergara also included their M5 cutout in the bottom metal, so you can run the included 5 round AICS magazine or convert to a traditional floorplate down the road. All of it lands at roughly 6.5 pounds bare, which is a number worth appreciating when you are miles from the truck.

Yes. The muzzle is threaded 5/8×24, which is the standard thread pitch for most .30 caliber suppressors and muzzle devices. The included Omni brake spins off easily, so you can swap between the brake and a can depending on the hunt.
The receiver is drilled and tapped for Remington 700 pattern bases and rails, so you have a huge selection of mounting options. Just make sure you pick long action 700 pattern hardware to match the .300 Win Mag receiver. There are no iron sights on this rifle, so plan on glass from day one.
Bare weight runs right around 6.5 pounds, which is impressively light for a magnum bolt gun. The included Omni muzzle brake does a lot of work taming recoil, so it stays comfortable at the range. Add a scope and sling and you are still packing a very carry-friendly setup for backcountry hunts.
