This .22 WMR bolt gun wears an 18 inch No. 6 heavy profile barrel in 4140 chrome moly steel, cut with a match chamber and finished with 1/2×28 muzzle threads under a protector. The extra barrel weight settles the rifle on bags and barricades, and the 1:16 twist handles the full range of magnum rimfire loads. It runs on Bergara's Micro Rimfire action, a scaled-down bolt that gives you that familiar B-14 feel in a package that comes in at 38 inches overall and around 6.6 pounds.
The BXR-inspired synthetic stock is where the X model separates itself from the standard BMR. You get an adjustable length of pull, a vertical grip, and a flat forend that rides bags and props the way a full-size precision stock does. The green finish with black webbing looks sharp and holds up to field abuse. Up top, a 30 MOA integral Picatinny rail gives your scope plenty of elevation to stretch the .22 WMR out past typical rimfire distances, and the externally adjustable Bergara Performance Trigger lets you dial in pull weight without pulling the action from the stock.
This rifle slots naturally into NRL22-style matches, where the base BMR platform has already built a solid reputation, but it is just as much at home in the truck for prairie dogs, ground squirrels, and coyote-calling setups where the .22 WMR's extra reach over a .22 LR pays off. Bergara includes both a 5-round and a 10-round magazine, so you are covered whether you are running match stages or still-hunting the back forty. No sights are included, so plan on mounting glass, which is how a rifle like this was meant to be run anyway. Yes. The 18 inch barrel comes threaded in the common 1/2×28 pattern and ships with a thread protector installed. That thread pitch matches most rimfire suppressors and muzzle devices on the market, so attaching a can is as simple as removing the protector and spinning yours on.
No sights or optics are included. Instead, the receiver features an integral 30 MOA Picatinny rail, which makes mounting a scope quick and gives you extra elevation for shooting at longer distances. This rifle is really designed to be run with glass on top.
It is a strong fit for rimfire precision matches like NRL22-style events. The heavy No. 6 profile barrel adds stability on barricades, the match chamber tightens up accuracy potential, and the adjustable trigger and length-of-pull stock let you fit the rifle to you.
