You get the same USA-made 416 stainless steel action and barrel combination that anchors rifles like the Canyon, already chambered, headspaced, and fitted with a pinned recoil lug. That takes the hardest part of a custom build off your plate. Drop it into a Remington 700 pattern stock or chassis, add a 700 style trigger and bottom metal, and you have a rifle built exactly the way you want it.
The action itself carries features you would normally pay a boutique shop for. The bolt runs a floating bolt head with two lugs, a sliding plate extractor, and dual plunger ejectors for consistent feeding and positive extraction. The spiral fluted bolt body keeps things running smooth, the enlarged bolt handle is easy to grab with gloves on, and the nitride bayonet style bolt shroud finishes it off cleanly. The receiver is drilled and tapped for Rem 700 style scope bases with the stronger 8-40 screw pattern, so mounting a rail or bases is straightforward.
The fluted No. 4 contour barrel is the same profile Bergara uses on the Canyon, and it hits a sweet spot between stiffness and carry weight. At 20 inches with a 1:8 twist, it stabilizes the heavy match and hunting bullets that make the 6.5 Creedmoor shine, and it keeps overall length manageable, especially once you add a suppressor. You will need a Rem 700 compatible trigger, a short action stock or chassis, bottom metal or a magazine system, and your optic setup. Since the barrel is already chambered, headspaced, and torqued at the factory with the recoil lug pinned in place, no gunsmithing is required for the barrel work itself.
The 6.5 Creedmoor was designed to run efficiently in shorter barrels, and a 20 inch tube still delivers plenty of velocity for hunting and long range work. The 1:8 twist stabilizes heavy, high BC bullets in the 140 to 147 grain range. The shorter length also keeps the rifle handy and balanced when running a suppressor.
Yes, the barrel comes threaded 5/8×24, which is the standard pitch for most 6.5mm and .30 caliber suppressors and muzzle brakes. A thread protector is included and installed from the factory to keep the threads clean when you are running the bare muzzle.
