The PX4 Storm has been Beretta's quiet overachiever for two decades, and the G-SD is what happens when the factory finally leans into what made it special. Developed alongside Ernest Langdon and the crew at Langdon Tactical Technology, this version swaps the standard barrel for a heavy-contour, cold hammer forged rotating barrel modeled after a pistol Langdon built for himself years ago. That gun earned the nickname the Cheater Gun because of how flat it shot, and the G-SD carries that same DNA. The extra barrel mass combined with the rotating lockup soaks up recoil to the point that it feels closer to a comped pistol than a stock 9mm.
Beyond the barrel, Beretta refined the details that matter in real use.
