Beretta took their proven A400 Xcel Sporting platform and reworked the fit for people who never quite fit a standard stock. The Vittoria wears a semi Monte Carlo walnut stock with a shorter 14 inch length of pull and a tighter pistol grip radius, dimensions designed with women and smaller-framed or younger clay shooters in mind. The Xtra-Grain finish gives the wood a rich, upgraded look, and the redesigned forend carries ergonomic checkering that locks your lead hand in place through a long day of stations.
Under the hood is Beretta's Blink gas operating system, which cycles roughly 36 percent faster than comparable gas guns and spreads recoil out into a soft push instead of a sharp jab. Pair that with the 28 inch Steelium vent rib barrel, Beretta's cold-hammer-forged barrel technology known for consistent patterns and long service life, and you get a gun that stays flat between the first target and the second half of a true pair. The receiver gets a laser-engraved Aquatech Shield grey coating for corrosion protection, plus enlarged controls on the bolt handle, bolt release, and loading port that are easy to run with cold fingers or a shooting glove.
The competition top rib keeps your eye moving straight to the target, a white front bead gives a clean reference point, and the forend cap accepts aftermarket weights so you can tune balance to your swing. Three extended Optima-Bore HP choke tubes cover everything from close rabbit presentations to long crossers, and the 3 inch chamber means it will happily digest heavier loads if you take it to a dove field or duck blind in the off season.

Yes. With a 3 inch chamber and Beretta's Steelium barrel, it handles field loads without complaint, and the Optima-Bore HP choke system lets you screw in tighter constrictions for doves or waterfowl. It is set up first and foremost as a clays gun, but it pulls double duty in the field just fine.
It ships with three extended Optima-Bore HP choke tubes to cover typical sporting clays presentations. The Optima-Bore HP system is widely supported, so additional constrictions from Beretta and aftermarket makers like Briley are easy to find if you want to round out your set.
