The difference is weight. The T0 is the lightest at roughly 3.8 ounces, the T1 comes in around 4.7 ounces, and the T2 is the heaviest at about 5.6 ounces. Lighter buffers like the T0 are best for over-gassed or suppressed rifles where you want to soften the impulse and clean up the ejection pattern.
Suppressors add back pressure that drives the action harder, which often shows up as violent brass ejection and a snappier feel. The lighter 3.8oz T0 lets the gas system do more work before the buffer mass reacts, giving you a smoother cycle and more controlled ejection.
