Bravo Company took their well-liked Gunfighter stock and gave it a wider body, and the result is the Mod 1 SOPMOD. The extra width gives you a fuller, more pronounced cheek weld that makes lining up behind an optic feel natural, whether you are running an SPR build, a duty carbine, or a range gun you just want to shoulder comfortably. It is molded from strong, lightweight polymer that holds up to real use without weighing your rifle down, tipping the scales right around 11 ounces for the stock itself.
The whole exterior is built to stay out of your way. Rounded edges and a snag-free profile keep the stock from catching on slings, plate carriers, or MOLLE gear when you are moving. There are two different ambidextrous sling mounting options including QD swivel sockets, so lefties and righties can set things up however they like. BCM also worked in a VBOST tab, which is a small but clever touch that lets you tuck your sling against the stock with a riggers band or bungee when the carbine is slung and you are working in a tight space like a vehicle.
This is a complete kit, not just the stock. You get the BCM 7075-T6 mil-spec receiver extension, a mil-spec carbine action spring, a carbine buffer, an M4 castle nut, and BCM's QD swivel mount end plate. That means you can take a stripped lower and finish the back end in one go without hunting down small parts. A built-in rubber butt pad keeps it planted on your shoulder, and there is a storage compartment tucked into the toe of the stock, reachable through the butt pad, for stashing a spare battery, small tools, or other odds and ends.
It drops onto any mil-spec diameter carbine buffer tube, and the longer overall body also plays nice with longer mil-spec AR-10, A5, and intermediate-length extensions if you go that route.

The Mod 1 SOPMOD takes the slimmer Mod 0 body and widens it for a fuller, more pronounced cheek weld. That widebody profile makes it easier to get consistent behind an optic and adds a bit more comfort when shouldering the rifle. It also carries over the snag-free shape and multiple sling options found on the Mod 0.
The stock is designed for mil-spec diameter carbine receiver extensions, and since the kit includes its own mil-spec tube, it drops right onto a standard AR-15 or M4 lower. The longer overall body also works with longer mil-spec AR-10, A5, and intermediate-length extensions. If your current setup uses a commercial-spec tube, keep in mind this kit is built around mil-spec.
It is a genuinely handy spot tucked into the toe of the stock and reached by opening the butt pad. It is sized for small items like a spare optic battery, earplugs, or a small tool. It keeps a couple of essentials with the rifle instead of floating around in your bag.
